$ man httpx
httpx
Which of your subdomains are alive, and what is running on them?
map the surfacesends requests to the target
⚠ Recon your own assets, or targets you have written permission to test. Passive OSINT reads public data, but using it to target someone else's systems can still be illegal or against their terms. Examples on this site use example.com placeholders.
## why a developer should care
Turns a list of names into a list of live web apps with status, title, server and detected technologies. The fastest way to spot the forgotten staging server.
## install
$ go install -v github.com/projectdiscovery/httpx/cmd/httpx@latestOther platforms and pre-built binaries: official install guide ↗
⚠ Not the Python package! `pip install httpx` also creates an `httpx` command - a different tool. If `httpx -version` does not mention ProjectDiscovery, you have the wrong one.
Check it worked: open a new terminal and run httpx -version. "command not found" means it isn't installed or isn't on your PATH yet (Go installs to ~/go/bin - add it to PATH).
